Export & Sharing

Exporting layers & frames

You can export any layer or frame to an image or document file.

  • Select a layer or frame on the canvas.
  • Open the inspector (the panel button at the right end of the floating toolbar, or Cmd/Ctrl Alt 2), find the Export section, and add an export setting.
  • Pick a format: PNG, JPEG, PDF, SVG, or WebP.
  • Set a size or scale for the output.
  • Check the preview, then download the file.

You can add more than one export setting to the same layer — for example a PNG at one scale and an SVG alongside it — and download each.

More export and handoff options are in progress.

Sharing a link

You can give someone a read-only view of a project without them needing an account.

  • Open the project-title dropdown (or right-click the project to open its context menu).
  • Choose Share to create a view-only link.
  • Send the link to anyone you want to show the design to.

Anyone with the link can view the design but can't edit it. When you're done sharing, open the same menu and turn the link off again.
